Cave Story or Doukutsu Monogatari is a Japanese side scolling RPG which has recently been ported as WiiWare and an brilliant example of the kind of quality coming out of the indy game scene, refering graphically to the classic 8bit period. Apart from being available on Wii a free ware version of the game is available here.
