Thank you to everyone who came down to the No Comply Sydney show, was massive, ran so smooth that it was sureal.
Photo of the new artwork will be on the updated No Comply site next week, until then enjoy these shots. Thanks to Andy Vermeulen and Mason Rose.
Australian Low Brow Art Dirtbag Kid Zoom, now residing in Sydney town has been killing it lately. Make sure you check out his site right here.
The date of the postponed No Comply Show has been announced, and it’s been announced right here. Will be launching on Friday the 20th of March.
Sorry about the wait everyone, but when faced with the incomplete venue, we had two choices, either push it back a few weeks and loose the momentum that the massive Melbourne show had or take a few extra months to update the show with new artists and give it a life of its own. We went with the later. It’s been allot of work, but it’s worth it and i think you’ll agree.
The shows going to launch at Red Bulls now complete gallery and true to the international dimension that No Comply has taken on, KR (Krink) will be heading down from NY to lay down some installations while Red Bull and Nice Produce are going to throw a massive party.
Based simply on the amount of Melbourne artists, collectors, aficionados and nice family who’ve confirmed that they’ll be making the trip to to Sydney to be a part of the occasion its looking like it’s going to to get out of hand.
And for you, here are all the details. For updates join the facebook group.
Portuguese magazine Dif just printed a 4 page feature on No Comply in their December issue. If i could speak Portuguese i’d be able to tell you more.
After so many hours work, the site’s up. Featuring shots of all the artwork as well as artist biographies and a link to the flickr page with shots of the Melbourne launch and layout.
No Comply is on its way to Sydney as i type, being driven by a twitchy courier who looks like he hasn’t slept in weeks and will be Setup in the Red Bull Gallery, a mad space indeed, the interior of two giant silos with a specially designed glass reception, great lighting and a private bar.
The Sydney show launches next Friday (the 12th) at 6pm with the usual deal, food, drink and music, i think Pritchard will be DJing or Lorna. Also we’re in luck a couple of other shows around the area promises to weed the crowd out, so it’s looking like it’ll be a good party.
Some art…. see more along with bios of the artists at www.nocomply.com.au
enjoy.
With the Sydney show of our No Comply exhibition launching in just under 2 weeks, we have a last minute addition to the lineup, Sydney artists Paul Davies, Ed Woodley, the always dope U.K artist French as well as the amazing talent of artist and designer Luca Ionescu.
The show, complete with the additional artwork will be launching on Friday the 12th of December at the new Red Bull HQ at 2 Huntly St Alexandria. Displayed from within the bowels of two giant silo’s. Should be good.
Shots from the SheOne and Meggs Live paint on Saturday night as the after party to the No Comply Show in Melbourne, time lapse video of this and the Sydney show coming soon to a blog near you.
More shots are being uploaded to Flickr at the moment.
Shots from last Fridays launch of No Comply Melbourne,
Indervidual shots of each piece and artist biographies will be on the No Comply site later this week, we’re currently reshooting all the artwork. I’ll do a post once they’re up.
