New-tek from the deep receses of the in-ter-Net
I found myself in the uncommon position of being stuck with my laptop and nothing to do for most of the day yesterday. It was a rare op to delve deep and find some new programs. Thought I’d share some findings with you.
Shiira, this web browser makes firefox look as dated as all over prints, lightning bolts and mikey mouse. Shiira is sheer-a browsing bliss, straight out of japan.
And the Icon is cool too. Kills Firefox hands down. The best feature is that tabs are preview windows, it also lets you bring all the tabs up on screen at the same time. What’s more the rss and history windows float on a slick transparent box. There’s still one or two bugs, but i’m down, as it develops these guys will nail it. Get it here
I’m a massive advocate of RSS browsers, they essentially let you check every blog that your following at once. I was a big fan of News Net Wire however my adulation strangely wained around the same time that the trial expired. Strange that.
