Nice has a new stockist in Sydney. Halfsleeve, located at the bottom of Goulburn Street in Surry hills is the new haven for the street wear crew of Sydney now that the golden age of Another Inch has passed. Stocking brands such as Foreign Family and MHI along side Nice.

Australia artist and illustrator Ben Brown has been running the Sydney poster art game for so long that the details are irrelevant. The bottom line is he is the man, the undisputed ruler of a domain infested by zombies, pop art and metal.
“Feeling Lucky”, Ben’s latest solo show will be on display in Melbourne at Marker Gallery on the 6th of march will be a series of prints and drawings, metal, pop culture and the undead, no doubt a welcome feature.
We’ll bring you a first glimpse of the art closer to the date.
Marker Gallery, 159 Johnson St Collingwood.
And because we love you, here is a preview of an upcoming Nice Produce T , “The Bodhisattva of revealing the true nature of things through boundless cynicism” by none other than Ben Brown. Looking at mid March release at this stage.

I’m back in NYC for a little while working. It’s been hard for me to get out during the week, but on the weekends I get to explore. What’s better than exploring? Exploring with Sutu (NiceProduce.com designer, and the guy behind Nawlz.com). Dope.
I’ve been too busy to keep up with what’s going on, but Sutu had the hookups. The photo above is Sutu shooting the Graffiti Hall of Fame (currently up on 106th and Park Ave). I’ll show you some more details once I get the join up together. We were planning to head out to 5 Points but by the time we finished all our beer, the sun was going down, so we decided to hit up Harlem instead.
So we hit Harlem for some soul food (currently the best meal I’ve had in the city, though probably not the healthiest). Harlem was at time warp. Current fashion craze is 80’s hip-hop, Spike Lee flick, DeLaSoul and Run DMC hits. It truely has got it going on. I will go back with my camera and show you all what it’s all about.
The other 2 shot above are from a spot in China Town. Totally bombed. It’s great to be back in a city with dirty walls. Stockholm (where I live) is clean as a whistle and has a zero tolerance for graffiti. There is a law (if you can call it that) that says if there is graffiti on your walls or on the train, then it must be removed within 24 hours. While NYC is a lot cleaner than the last time I was here, there’s definitely character and the charm of it’s graffiti history on every block.
I’ll be serving more updates as time goes on. This week I’m hitting up Krink’s studio for a chat and shoot for an upcoming interview. Sneak peaks only found on Grassroots, bitches.
Peace.

New Giclee print by Reka is up on nice RIGHT HERE. only $120 too.
I´ve been working on the 400ml mag, so I haven´t had much time to take care of other things…but I´ve been missing here so much…so I´ll give you a little preview of what I´ve been doing lately.

I recently went to meet my good old friend who turned into one of the best hip hop Djs that we have here in Brazil right now, producing with the best Mcs around and kicking ass on the beats.
So I went to check his performance at the club Studio SP, that has arts all over the place, very cool stencil, stickers and graffiti artists decorated it and turned into a gallery night club, that always have awesome performances, like Dj Mako himself, and others.

Check out his Myspace!
Jeff Soto just posted a time lapse video from the creation of “The Corruption of Mankind” from his Riverside Art Museum exhibition titled “Turning in Circles”
