And he is also doing a photographic exhibition, in collaboration with Gordon Cark, called “Who Am I? Transgressions”.

Oh! And yes, Leon is also the longest know living survivor of Progeria, a condition that makes him look like’ he’s 80 years old when he’s actually 24.

Looks more like a “motivation” than a “condition” to me…after all is just a matter of perspective, so try a more positive and productive one!

I really don´t want to be too reptitive…but whatever they do it´s big news, so here´s the animated video they did for the internacional movie festival in Sao Paulo.

We can be expecting an animated movie by the twin brothers any time soon !

And there´s no doubt it would be awesome!

Great expectations for 2010 !

The most famous , and talented, twin brothers of the street-contemporary-graffiti-art are literally taking over the city…and the world!

These month only they did a show in the Brazilian Museum of Art with the “VERTIGEM” (vertigo) exhibition, they illustrated the international film festival’s posters and billboards and performed one of the most incredible things I´ve ever saw in my life, a show with inflatable giant dolls one of them being a giant yellow big headed guy.

Here are some stuff I found on the net to give you guys a little taste of it all.

The “VERTIGO” show

This is definetely the best exhibition I´ve ever been. Those guys really know how to do it, from the moment you step on the door of the museum you already feel like you´re going into another world. The enviroment they created makes you feel like you´re really inside a parallel universe, their universe. They stepped up another level and brought new sculptures made of metal, new interactive pieces, beautifull canvases and an amazing mural painted on the walls of the museum.

I´ve been to the show 2 weeks in a row and I can´t get tired of it, everytime I find a new detail, a new piece, I discover another part of the world they created inside the museum.

33rd International Film Festival

Not only they designed the art and posters of the festival but they also paticipated on a debate with the art director of the movie Art Inconsequence, which is part of the festival, about street and art.

Plasticiens Volants + Osgemeos

To end the celebrations of the “year of the France in Brazil”  Osgemeos gathered with the french group Plasticiens Volants to perform the show called “O Estrangeiro” (the foreigner). The show had already been presented in Holland, see it here,  in 2008 and now came to Brazil.

The inflatable puppet more than 20mts high was exactly the same character they painted on the side of a building that´s on the same square where the event took place.

(There´s a lot of shots on YouTube. This guy, guitarfeak666, seems to shot the whole thing, is very long but worth every second of it !  I filmed it too but I can´t post it yet)

I had tears in my eyes watching this! It was so surreal to see a real character from Osgemeos walking in the middle of the buildings looking like it was about to step on us, like the giant marshmallow monster from “Ghostbusters” ! And not just that but the whole scene, it was a theatrical intervention with a snake, a fly and an owl coming from behind the buildings interacting with the “foreigner” character , and the music, the sounds that seem to be coming out of the sky ! You gotta see it to believe it ! Just brilliant!

It´s official : OS GEMEOS TOOK OVER SAO PAULO !

I just saw on the website of the 400ml magazine, which I´m doing with a friend, that one of my favorite graffiti artists of all times, Claudio Ethos just had an exclusive interview with the guys at the Juxtapoz Mag, check it !

His style and creativity are so unique that makes me proud just to live in the same country as him! I can tell you that it´s amazing to walk on the streets and be faced wiht one of his works !

Just had a chat with my pal and amazing artist, Yusk . Who´s in Holland / Rotterdam to paint an enormous building with some other brazilian artists such as Ramon Martins and Dalata.

I went to Yusk´s blog  to find more about this project and all we can see so far is some shots of the exterior ready to be painted and the blueprint of the building, that used to be a factory but now is a building filled with design offices and advertising agencies inside.

The red marked part is where he´s supposed to be painting in a few days. Can´t wait to see it done!

Martha Cooper !!! Who´s touring all around  to promote and to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the legendary book Subway Art by Martha Cooper and Henry Chalfant !

Still in Rotterdam, she went to the Street Science Festival and put up some amazing shots of it on her blog at the 12ozprophet website.

 ” While Street Science workshops, panels and battles were happening inside Watt, artists from around
the world were painting the wall outside the building. ”

 ”Only problem—permission had been requested but
not granted. Apparently some neighborhood residents called the cops.”

 ”(…) Painting continued. Round one goes to: artists!”

by Hip Hop Huis. This year’s theme celebrated the past, present and future of Hip Hop through
performances, workshops, battles, panels and after parties. ”

Old School Party held at Watt on Saturday night, the highlight of the Street Science Festival.”

Last week the Mube ( Brazilian Museum of Esculpture) oppened its doors to the Graffiti art of nine talented artists of the street art scene.

Binho, Does, Dalata were the first three to show their works at the walls of the museum .

The first to catch your eyes getting inside the museum was BINHO.

Right next to him was DOES.

Next to it was DALATA. One of my favorite graffiti artists of all times!

Who painted the most impressive work I´ve seen on a wall lately.

Crazy details fills his works with figures and faces.

The next three to present are Anjo, Graphis and Cern from  NYC . And after them Chivitz, Nove and Presto.
