See? See!? We weren’t crazy after all. We really were working on version 2 of Nice Produce.
Behold, Nice 2. Build from the ground up by our genius Karl. More power full than Galactus, more agily than Spiderman and as useful as Slapstick. There are new sections for, events, galleries, good looking storefront, cleaner interface and a blog section with a shit load of bloggers.
Nice v2.0 History Lesson.
Nice Produce 2 is first mentioned in newsletter on May 22nd, 2008 12:47:16 AM GMT+10:00
Quote – “We’re smashing code on the award winning Nice 2.0.”
Nice 2 then next appears in a blog post titled “Coming up for Air” on December 22nd, 2008.
Quote – “We’re working on it, if you want the job done right, you have to do it yourself. It’s the Nice way of life.” It’s important to note that this post is accompanied by a photo of 4 cases of Carslberg cooling on a balcony in Stockholm.
2009 is a blur.
The next mention of Nice 2 comes in January 11th, 2010 in a blog post called “Nerdballin 2.0.” Where we see that a overworked and disheveled Lynty has been picked up as the Downsizing spokesman for the i.t industry. We claim that “The 90% finished Nice 2.0 will be up and running before you know it.”. We lie.
No longer in Stockholm on May 9th 2010, in a self explanatory blog post titled “Another Lovely Day in NYC” we see why Nice2 has yet again been held back, due to an unforseeable bottleneck at Prince and Wooster Taco stand in Soho.
And then, May 24th 2010, as if by magic, exactly 2 years and 2 days after the first announcement, Nice Produce 2.0 is up, just like that.
Shigeru Miyamoto, is still clearly impressed.
Good work Lynty.
Thanks everyone for sticking by Nice all these years.
As great as the leaps towards aware software are, i cant help but feel that soon most designers will be redundant. Once the work on Trendy Filter™ has completed the streets will be inundated with out of work t-shirt designers, and the stores flooded with pyramid, starscapes and dear antlers. Scary.

Thanks Rone.

The geniuses at Jacques Magazine have found a way to make tennis not suck. What will they think of next?

There is nothing better than watching right wing journos making tremendous fools of themselves.
Just goes to show that you can get political through art without reverting into a self righteous pussy hippy clutching a folder full of George Bush stencils. Saber rules.
So many of you have been asking, “whats up with Nice Produce version 2”, “it’s been well over a year that you’ve been promising the update”, “why are you guys such a lazy pack of c*nts?”
Well the truth is that the site IS in fact coming along, albeit mighty slowly. The main reasons is that Nice Produce genius coding WunderKind, Karl Stanton has been busy posing for nerd industry tech mags as the “Downsizing poster boy” and enjoying all the drugs, parties and womens that comes with the position.
Note the gradient square escaping top right… this is his mind leaving his head to find a bar at the exact moment of photography.
Mid Feb at the latest people, and it’ll be better than anything you can imagine. We had to divert power to finish the LTRHDS site and a new site which is launching in Feb. The 90% finished Nice 2.0 will be up and running before you know it.
On another Note. www.LTRHDS.com is up. Check it out and keep checking it’s blog for interviews.
As just announced on the Everfresh blog, the studio has signed a deal with Miegunyah Press to publish thier first book. The Everfresh Black book, 240 pages of previously unpublished photos, and a behind the scenes shenanigans on Australia most respected crew.
The book work in progress.
On the subject EFC just posted some photos from the Halloween, truly epic party of the year, check them out here.
Featureing Rone Lagerfeld and the always debonair ElBoozo Mysterio
And who could forget the special surprise appearance by the 50 cops who arrived just in time to exercise some good old fashioned extreme force concern for public safety and heavy handed brutality peace keeping, teaching us all how much more realistic and fun real blood is on a Halloween costume rather than that fake stuff we were using like a pack of noobs.
In fact everyone was having such a great time that we all almost totally forgot to break each others noses while spraying each other with mace. Luckily these guys were ontop of it.
Check the Everfresh slide show of the night for what was nonetheless a dope party.
It’s been a while since I have posted to the faithful NiceProduce blog. That’s because I’ve been busy as hell. I’ll cut the bullshit and give you all a heads up on what we’re doing at Nice HQ.
Recently, NiceProduce relocated it’s European outlet to the bright lights of New York City. In the past month or so, we’ve been busy setting up shop, working hard on the new website and getting loose. I know the international subscribers are keen on spending their own currency (since the Aussie dollar is blazing at the moment), but the US Government, while seemly tight, is a useless pile of shit when it comes to economics. Hold tight.
Last month Meggs dropped into town to show who’s boss. Plenty of parties, exhibitions and true Australian mayhem. And to the yanks who continue to ask, we’re not fucking English! Great to have you in town Meggs, hope you showed LA what’s what. Welcome back any day.
Koan just finished his recent tour of Japan with New York legend Krink. If you didn’t catch the update, read on. By all accounts the exhibition was off the hook and our Japanese insurgence continues to grow every year. I’ll be visiting Tokyo next week to pick up where Koan left off. For my Nihongo bitches, you know where we are!
Koan is now safe and sound in the padded confines of the Melbourne HQ. Drop in and bring the man a beer.
The website is almost complete. We are taking a major overhaul of product and direction. We have been selling an amazing amount of artwork to which the artists are truly grateful. The events section will bring every major Melbourne event right to your doorstep (with directions), and our product catalogue is of the highest possible quality. We have been delaying the release for months as every time Koan and I sit down we either end up drinking too much or coming up with some crazy shit we can’t miss.
Either way… it’s worth the wait.
Currently our site has taken a back seat, mainly due to travel time and curating, but…
For those customers who have been put out by the delays, we appreciate your patience, your works are on the way.
I know you like free booze, so keep an eye on this blog in the coming weeks as we announce the next series of exhibitions in Melbourne. I will let Koan take the reigns on announcing these, but rest assured it’s true Melbourne quality.
Right, enough blabber, I hate reading, too.
Have a great Christmas, all!
C-boyz are go! go!. site.
