The first round of ads for this years Laneway festival have gone out, again with epic craziness from the hand of the old emperor. This year the festival is engulfing another state and even more of Melbourne city.
This took a while to get right and especially tight but its done, we’re pleased, the client, as always is doing happy backflips like one of those little pink electronic toy dogs at South Melbourne market and after the last 2 days of sponsor logo changes on multiple 400m files we’re about ready to go drink beers. We rule.
Here it is folks.
This scene originally had WAY more screaming monkies but we cut it back as it seemed to interfere with the tenderness of the moment.
This years bar fly feature goes to non other than the incredible Johnny Sparks, the electrician of the most dopest/most popular bar in Australia, TMs flock from far and wide to experience the authentic ally way culture. It’s currently also the only bar in Australia that doesn’t have any working electricity for some reason. A pillar of the community. He’s also easy to draw cause he looks like Sly.
Enter the K-Man

More unguarded structures get covered in wood grain camouflage as the No Comply camo spree continues unimpeded.
With global warming hitting hard, you have to make the most of the snow, even if it’s only Mt Buller.
Bring back the Tijuana Powder run!!
I wanna give props to the Everfresh Crew. Thanks again for having us down on Friday.
I was thinking about your studio over the weekend, how it’s a hive of creativity, how some of the best artwork and ideas on the planet are conceived in a studio in this very city, by artists who live and breathe Melbourne.
The statements being made (like the one above) about “Banning the Can” are on point, and I wanna give props to Everfresh for flying the flag. All of you have contributed so much to Melbourne, whether it be with your talent, and most importantly, positive contributions and attitude.
So many people take your work for granted.
Whether it be photography by tourists, photography by locals, work being published uncredited in tourism documents and on the telly… we know it’s downright plagiarism, keep your heads up, we support you.
I urge all of you reading this to get the Everfresh Blog in your daily feeds and support Melbourne’s biggest asset.
PEACE.
The weekend is here. Nothing but beer, football finals, Bootleg Session DVD’s (courtesy of Relax/Ride, something we should all be doing), GTA IV, Mario Kart, riding pushies, partying, mad loving, working on Nice v2 for YOU lot and probably some sleep in between it all.
May not be your cuppa, but I have waited for that drop of premium all week. Time to kick back, relax and open some suckers up on GTA.
See you Monday.

Can you believe it’s been 3 years already?
From a little idea to a big world, thanks to everyone past and present who have been involved in the “Nice way of life”.
Shouts to our immediate families and crews who keep us strong.
Shouts to our loyal supporters and customers who got taste.
Shouts to Melbourne city…
… and never forgetting the most important shout of all — to the artists and contributors, we’ve seen you grow in leaps and bounds. From the suburbs to the globe, don’t stop. The world is yours for the taking!
We’ve got plans as long as our rubber arms, Nice V2 is coming close, our range is expanding and the world is taking notice. There couldn’t be a better time to be feeling Nice.
PEACE & LONG LIVE THE NEW FRESH!
No posting from me of late (if anyone noticed).
