Heads up people, here is the lineup for the 2008 No Comply exhibition. Its come a long long way since the first shows, but the loves still there.
A finer bunch of rogues have never congregated in single a group show.
Although there are still a couple of artists which i’m waiting to hear back from, this is, essentially, the final list.
If you’ve got a cheeky few hours to spend checking out the artists work, click the names, they link to sites and artwork. There is an amazing collection of talent here.
Props to Cey, Indie, Miss G and Two One for the hand and a thank you to everyone.

No Comply 08 will be held during November in Melbs, December in Sydney, then then off to Left Foot In Taipei for Jan/Feb 09.
I’d like to say thanks to Carhartt and Red Bull Australia for backing No Comply. If not for their support, the costs of this show would have been prohibitive.
I’m lucky to have met sponsors who are just as excited about this lineup as we are.
If anyone wants more information on the show, hit me up.
Adelaide’s own Vans is having his first solo show, where else?
Melbourne.

The show will be sure to impress, show some Melbourne love and stop by.
Style check?

No Vacancy’s will be casting a neon shadow over Melbourne as a mammoth space with already impresive lineup of shows, starting with a group of which i’ll be posting some information on later this week.

Phibs, the most important figure in the development of Melbourne street art and his girl Deb are having their first duel show at Hogan Gallery on the 3rd.
Also we will be stocking a series of painting and prints by Phibs on NiceProduce by the end of the month, keep an eye out.
In July 2002, The Rub began with a simple goal: the creation of a classics and hip-hop party to be held on the first Saturday of every month at Southpaw. However, it was the approach that has made it click. We do it Brooklyn style: great dance music mixed well, affordable drinks, and real people; no dress code, no bottle service, no VIPs and no celebrity DJs. The combination of great music, a hot and sweaty dance floor, and phenomenal word-of-mouth buzz for the party brought the people there. The unparalleled mix of hip hop, disco, 80s, reggae, funk, house and everything in between keeps them coming back.
The Rub has been widely recognized as the best club night in New York City for several years. The Rub was named both “the best party in Brooklyn to dance sweatily to smart music” by the Village Voice and “the best party in NYC” by The New York Press. Ayres, Eleven & Cosmo have also been also featured on MTV Mixtape Mondays, in The New York Times, Spin, Vice, XXL, XLR8R, Urb, The Fader, The Wire, RE:UP, Tablist, Hip-Hop Connection (UK), Spray (France) and on countless websites. In addition, the three DJs have been releasing mixtapes at a breakneck pace, traveling to gigs across the country and around the world, and put out four official Rub CDs and 8 records. In 2006 DJ Ayres and Cosmo Baker won Scion’s Free Your Mix Contest.
This is the most definitive hip-hop mix blog I’ve seen. Out of control
Get on this shit and bliss through the weekend.
