Sydney’s is sterile, no tags anywhere, so after a week when you see something like this it warms your heart.
Richie the owner of Another Inch, one of the few stores repping street culture in Sydney. As you can see from this photo he’s mad tough.
He gave me this Another ” / Futura T… Thanks.
When i told Two he’d get pussy at the launch party, this probably wasn’t what he expected.
Smokin with Pewe, Sydneys littlest hustler and one of the maddest chick on the planet. Thanks for putting us up on your couches before we blagged our hotel.
Yep, managed to score gratis accommodation.
Thanks to the fine art loving folks at The Storier, a truly fine hotel. Totally decimated the minibar on a number of ocassions aswell and they didn’t mind a bit.
All we had to do was pass ourselves off as Sotherbies Art dealers… seriously. Which is funny cause we couldn’t of looked any less the part and the number of nights we came back blind, i really don’t know how we pulled it off. Was sweating bullets when I checked out.
Either the owners clued on and we’re cool or the REAL Sotherbies art dealers must have a reputations for smashing it on a whole new level, like with monocles, heroic doses of DMT , top hats, hookers, scotch, midgets and home made napalm.
I know what i want to be when i grow up.
And props to Mase from Seven Shadows for the shots.
Some cool action shots of the guys working on ‘Uni-versos’ and some artist’s history.

He works with street art since 1997. Started his career in Sao Paulo and from there he went on contributing to the artistic growth of the graffiti art scene.
His artworks are directly connected with the elements of nature and of the Hindu culture, resulting in a fine linear graphics that sprouts from the walls as plants, entitled by the artist as “Stalks”, which carries seeds in its ends focusing energy and purity that nourishes and stimulates the imagination of the observer under futuristic aspects. Also present in his compositions represented by the union between abstract and figurative.
Enivo´s working at his share of the Uni-versos show and what was his inspiration on these works.
ENIVO
He made a vital pact with painting and its essence by the age of 12 through his first experience with graffiti in 1998. Since then he’s been marking the streets with his art, like a stamp of poetry, expressing his own universe and reaching for a shape´s definition.
Which led him to develop a timeless energy field, portrayed by extra-physical beings, where evolution exempts technology and focus in the spiritual growth through meditation, making possible the physical and mental displacement from this time and space to another one beyond our own.
Vine’s work was so impressive….he did his characters all over the walls and then he covered with white paint just enough to look like a fog kind of…which made his side of the show so beautifull !
He’s known as an ‘old school’ artist and belongs to the second generation of graffiti.
And in his long trajectory, mostly in the south region of Sao Paulo, he believes in his educational responsibility and justifies the graffiti as a transformation. And by doing so influencing a new generation that acts with strenght in the region.
His paintings shows the pleasent harmony between elements of the essence and his imaginary , where the fragments are portrayed through portals watched by a guardian.
Associating this ludic universe with the enviroment that surrounds him.
He´s one of my favorite artists here… and he´s too modest to admit that he is a legend around here ! He has everyone´s respect and if you ever have the chance to meet him, you´ll be meeting one of the nicest and kindest people in the whole world.
No wonder why his works are more than beautifull to look at…it´s just a beautifull feeling you get looking at them. Jerry´s work is pure love.
