DREWFUNK “BLACK LININGS” SOLO SHOW.
Saturday, February 19th, 2011I’m very excited to invite you to my third Melbourne solo exhibition “Black Linings” which will be held in No Vacancy Gallery this coming 24th of March 2011.
“Black Linings is a new collection of work inspired by small yet symbolic creatures. The insignificant suddenly transforms into the iconic in these works as Drewfunk’s use of line and repetition creates a narrative about unity”. Michael peck.
Malaysian born Illustrator/Artist Drewfunk now resides in Melbourne after deciding to quit his full-time job as a designer to live his passion. He draws his inspirations from the city streets whilst staying true to his oriental heritage and has been known to have an aerosol addiction.
