Respect to the man.

Respect to the man.
I found a restaurant on Russel Street in Melbourne called A1 Somthing or other. Its the shit, they rule the world of Egg Chiffon. Seriously.
I’ve just had a fried pork, BBQ pork and bacon Egg Chiffon on rice, i’m so happy and so full of dead pig that i feel like crying. Sweet porky tears of Joy.

Heres a sneak preview of some of the 3d breaker action show at Wooden Shadow last tuesday. 0ff hook you say? Well yes, i agree.
We can’t wait to see the other 100 or so takes.
Last Fridays launch of Doze Green at Paper Shadow.
Upstairs in the gallery things were mellow, it was just chillers enjoying the killer art in all its glory. At the end of its tour from NZ to Sydney and then the mighty PSG. Stands for Pogo Sex Girls.
And Speaking of which… Shit, i’m not going to open the upstairs bar during future launches. How much nicer is it when its not a gallery mosh pit?
The only excitement occurred when some strange hippy came out of no-where and tried to shake Jagi down for his stash of Tofu and Sandlewood. Shit almost got hectic.
Meanwhile downstairs, hundreds watch as Doze paints live. Photos below are courtesy of Bonsai. Luckily at least one of us knows how to use a camera.

Interplanetary, no actually more like cosmological.
I got the feeling that while Doze was working he was painting the audience that was watching him. I forgot to ask if that was true, but if it was, heres an shot of the crowd for comparison. I love this guy with the camera phone, and theres that hippy again.
Wait, thats no hippy it’s Bonsai with Mason (7 Shadows fame) and Jagi to the Right. While Masons boy in the back is shows off his impressive butterfly hand puppetry. Tight.
You see how well we treat our guests at Paper Shadow? Buxom servant girls, now thats service.
My brothers at Libertine, Jerry Poon and Master Steve, the proud owner of the live painted piece from the night. The lucky bastard.
You see her sparking me up? I tell you guys… That Remy is a bad influence.
Jagi does the worlds first gay Ninja Turtle impression…..
And we loose our shit, which thats about the last memory i have of the night, the rest is a blur of laugher, karaoke and kabuki.
Doze mate, when you get back in March we’re picking the party up where it left off. Until then Peace.
AND! Big ups to Andrew Chew and his crew from Sydney for making this all possible, i look forward to working with you guys in the future.
Ohh man, last night was off the hook.

Here is the camera array, madness.

Above my boy Mason, second from the left looks on, he’s the man behind Seven Shadow, and one of the greatest human beings to ever live. straight up.
Check this shit out.

I think i speak for everyone there when i say I’m hanging out to see the results of this shoot, as soon as the lads in the lab have patched it all together we’ll no doubt get some of it up on youtube.
Peace to Kid David, Ducky, Milky and Beast. What a night.
Grey Ghost.

The result of a hasty MSN catchup during lunch today, here is some recent work from Jason Jacenko, who we affectionately refer to as Uncle Pervie. If the shoe fits….

The Bunny Queen – a busy busy boy, JJ’s booked tille March 09 and is featuring in the coolest gallery’s,,, pretty much everywhere.

Its an Outy! This hum-dinger, more characteristic of JJs usual, um, “direction” is for Archytypes, “assassination of character”. A group character show on at Revolver on the 7th. Check it out if your in Melburn.

Preview of a pair of collab boards with Craola
Did i mention that we call him Uncle Pervie?
Was good to catch up with the guy, albiet online.
I’ll get some more images off him soon.

Aussie B-Boys and B-Girls, this is the moment you’ve all been waiting for…At long last a super hot break dancing championship is taking place in Australia, so gather your crew and get ready to rip it and represent!
Travelling to Sydney in September, The Shadow Wars B-Boy Battle is already gearing up to be one of the most impressive and mammoth showcases of Australian break dancing talent, with international B-Boy superstars Milky, Kid David and Ducky and one more special guest heading to our shores to judge the prestigious competition.
Best known for their performances in one of the world’s leading breakdancing events, The Red Bull BC One, in addition to judging The Shadow Wars B-Boy Battle, these breakdance masters will also be battling head-to-head with the local winners of the events and conducting workshops prior to the comps. This way, they can teach local crews a few new tricks and show us Aussies how it’s really done.
Next weekend, Melburns the place to be.
Frisday: Doze Green is doing a show at the galley, the expansive collection will not only be shown in Paper Shadow but will also be exhibited downstairs with our sister venue Miss Libertines who are also graciously hosting the after party with Unkles James Lavelle. Indisputably the place to.
Saturday: kicking on with dnb producer and dj Klute at miss libertines, big phat Nexo stacks a rearing to go.
Sunday: on the other side of town at The Laundry my bro Cammo is putting on a fuck off dub step session with U.Ks BENGA.

Below is the artwork for Benga, by the illustrious Melbourne artist Jagi. Whose currently busy on his next exhibition “Shiney Space Junk” which will be in Paper Shadow September. He’s also working on a series of T-shirts for NiceClothing, so keep your eyes peeled. Big Tings are ahead for Jagi. I’l dig up a whole heap of his work and do a post this week.

So here’s the NiceProduce blog. Alex and I have been discussing the finer points of good blog writing all morning, I think we’ve both agreed that neither of us will win Pulitzer Prizes for our journalistic abilities, hell, we can barely spell – but we do promise to bring some news worthy bits and pieces for y’all procrastinating pleasure.
First up, jump on my podcast for my radio show I have here in Melbourne on Kiss FM.
Second, here’s a shot of Japan – probably the greatest country in the known universe.

Remember, your smile is beautiful.
