I just got into a new project with a really great guy from Rio, Thiago, who invited me to do a piece on the No Comply show for the first edition of his digital magazine, about the street art and culture, and now I´m officially part of this cool project which is the 400ml magazine !

The first edition was made under the name “Graff Rio”,because of the guys envolved in the project in the first place were all from Rio de Janeiro, but since me and other people from other parts of Brazil got on board and collaborate with it, the name has been changed so that people know that what we´re doing is for everyone who likes or does street art and support the street culture.

The first edition came out with interviews with real talented guys, such as the stencil artist Venom, graffiti artist from Rio Davi, stencil and sticker artists Drao from South Brazil; articles about the biggest events that went on Rio last year like the Hutuz Rap Festival and award, which awarded the greatest talents on Brazilian Rap Music, also competitions of Streetball, Skate and Graffiti, the artists nominated were Insane, Nick and Vespa from cvcrew, the winner, chosen by the public vote; and the Meeting Of Favela, which gathered most of the brazilian graffiti artists on Rio to do a big production painting the ‘favelas’ there, and some dope photos on the Gallery section :

Do you guys remeber that post I did about a huge wall painted by OsGemeos, Nina, Hebert Baglione and Nunca that was painted over in gray paint by the company hired by our city mayor to ‘clean’ out the graffitis, by “accident”, they say… ???

If not, let me help to refresh your memory, the post was  “OsGemeos” …who???

So, the mayor and the S.P.’s prefecture tried to get redemption by ‘letting they paint it all over again’…and I went there to follow the process, and got to talk with most of the artists envolved in the project about it, and to shoot some nice photos of it, since I finally got a camera, so check it out !

The guys and the girl that represant what the street means, got together to repaint a wall that had a Sliks (Prakrti) and Enivo’s work on it, that I loved but the freshness must go on.

Just so you know what we´ll keep ding and talking about here, and so I could wish you all AN AMAZING YEAR FOR ALL THE NICE PRODUCE’S FRIENDS !!!

On the previous visit to SP my good friend and awesome artist Prakrti, did a great job by repainting an old work by him and Enivo, that was ‘attacked’ by one of these crazy pixações that I just don´t get, ‘pixação versus graffiti’ is a non-sense act on MY book, I got to talk with people envolved in some of those pixações and I get their view, don´t agree with it and there´s pretty much nothing we can do about it, I feel sad for works like these but they can still do a new one but works like from NIGGAZ, who´s not ‘here’ anymore, or from Os Gemeos, an old one with a style they don´t do anymore made me cry when I saw…anyways, I had the pleasure to watch the guys in action plus a lot of works in these alley, called the Batman’s alley, don´t ask me why, very well known for its legendary graffitis, and you all too now !

I took a night walk with some friends the other day and could finally took some shots, which are not as good as I´d like but I think you´ll get to see what it´s about, of this awesome work by OsGemeos, on the school they used to study and where it all began, people seeing how good they were drawing, where they did their first graffitis, as far as I know, and now the school is closed and they painted it outside, with themselves on it !

They used beads glued to the wall,  which gave a real nice touch to it !

Our ‘homeboy’ Prakrti, came to visit us this weekend ! Which is always a injection of happiness and energy for us, and left more than inspiration on our streets.

He always brings the freshest stuff as usual. Amazing us everytime he goes to a wall.

The streets are way better now, freash walls/graffitis brings me fresh air, I breathe it !
